UC Irvine's Indoor Season Concludes in Seattle

SEATTLE, Wash. --- The UC Irvine women's indoor track and field team concluded its 2013 season Saturday on the final day of competition at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Indoor Championship at Dempsey Indoor in Seattle.
Sophomore Itos Aikhionbare placed 10th in the shot put with a mark of 47-5 ¼.
Sakia Sailinuu had UCI's top finish in the 800 meters with a 17th-place time of 2:14.87 while Chelsea Schneider was 19th in 2:15.59.
Kaycee Holcomb led the Anteaters in the mile run, placing 19th in 4:58.57. Samia Sailinuu was 22nd in 5:06.41 and Chloe Fata 23rd in 5:11.64.
Lauren Hackney finished 35th overall in the 400 meters with a time of 58.08 while KayC Wharton was 39th in 58.58.
UCI's 4x400 relay of Kaulyn Lee-McNeill, Wharton, Sakia Sailinuu and Hackney finished 13th in 3:53.53.
