Vanessa Aguilar Named Buffalo Wild WIngs Anteater of the Week

Irvine, Calif.--- UC Irvine women's basketball player Vanessa Aguilar has been named this week's Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week.
Aguilar had a career-high with 20 points in a win over Appalachian State. The senior came off the bench to lead the team in points, while shooting 7-8 from the floor and 5-6 from the three-point line. Aguilar's clutch three-pointer with 2:08 left in the game gave UCI a commanding lead as Appalachian State had pulled within five. On the season Aguilar is leading the 'Eaters in field goal percentage at 45% and three-point baskets with 14.
UCI will close a nine-game road trip on Saturday (Dec. 14) against Sacramento State.
