• The Anteaters will host league-leading Cal State Northridge Friday in Crawford Court then UC Davis Saturday in the Bren Center. 
• UCI, who is 11-12 on the year and 2-7 in the Big West, is looking to snap a two-match losing streak.
• The Anteaters out-hit (.178-.168) and out-blocked (7.5-5.0) Hawaii, but fell to the Rainbow Wahine 3-0 at the Stan Sheriff Center in the lone match last week.
•  Arielle Manz had a standout effort against Hawaii, putting away eight kill in 16 attempts with no errors to hit .500. She also recorded a match-leading four block assists.

AMONG THE BIG WEST

• UCI leads the Big West in aces (1.49), is third in digs (15.66) and fourth in blocks (2.40) in league statistics overall.
• UCI is the only Big West team to have two athletes in the top eight in kills per set with Marisa Bubica ranking sixth (3.09) and Aly Squires at eighth (3.06).
• Shannon Fleming remains the Big West leader in aces with 34 and a .39 average. Fleming is also second in the Big West in blocking at 1.12 per set. She leads the conference with 91 block assists and is fifth with eight solo stuffs.
• Arden Davis ranks fifth in the league in digs with a 3.65 mark.

FLEMING IN THE RECORD BOOK

• Shannon Fleming has 336 block assists, one shy of Amanda Vazquez' second spot (337) in the UCI career records. Kris Roberts (1985-88) holds the top spot with 377.
• Fleming is also close to entering the top 10 in several season categories. The senior is six shy of No. 10 in aces and seven shy of entering the top 10 in block assists.

MATADORS AND AGGIES COME TO TOWN

• Cal State Northridge is 19-4 overall and leads the Big West with a 9-1 record.
• The Matadors have won four straight and are coming off of 3-0 victories against Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside last week.
• UC Davis enters the week 14-9 overall and 6-4 in the Big West and will travel to Long Beach State before coming to Irvine.
• The Aggies have won three in a row and four for the last five. UCD is coming off a 3-2 victory over Cal State Fullerton after trailing the Titans 14-10 in the fifth set.
