UC Irvine Women's Golf Signs Four

Irvine, Calif. – UC Irvine head women's golf coach Julie Brooks announced the signing of Lindsay Gullikson, Kelsey Kawaguchi, Joo Seo and Camille Wagg to National Letters of Intent.

"I am extremely happy to be bringing in such a great group of players and women," Brooks said. "They will make an immediate impact and will help us achieve our goal of winning championships."

Lindsay Gullikson     
Tacoma, Wash./Bellarmine Prep High School

Qualified for state championships as a sophomore  by winning the West Central 4A District Tournament…also qualified for state as a junior where she placed  16th…member of four straight state championship teams…won WJGA Districts as well as tied for third at 2013 Pacific Northwest Junior Girls' Amateur Championship and tied for seventh at 2012 PNGA Jr. Girls Am.

Kelsey Kawaguchi
Los Altos, Calif./Los Altos High School

Played prep golf on the Los Altos High School Boy's Team where she was voted Rookie of the Year in 2011…won the Santa Cruz City Amateur Championship in 2013 and was medalist at the Charlie Culver Junior event  in 2012…finished third at the Sacramento State Fair Junior in 2012 and fourth at the AJGA Centennial Taylormade-addidas Qualifier…she set the course record as well as the Blossom Valley Athletic League and Santa Clara Valley Athletic League record at the Santa Teresa Golf Course with a 67 in 2013.

Joo Seo
Laguna Niguel, Calif./Aliso Niguel High School

Two-time Sea View League MVP at Aliso Niguel High School…participated in the CIF Southern Section Individual Championship twice and qualified for Women's Sourthern California Golf Association Championship…Sea View League Finals champion…advanced to the CIF-SS Southern Individual Regional where she placed 12th  as a senior… won the 2013 Toyota Tour Cup Series at Bella Collina…had four other top five finishes as a senior…was medalist in 14 out of 15 matches during the 2011 season, which was a high school record…finished first individually in the South Coast League as a sophomore. 

Camille Wagg
Rocklin, Calif./Rocklin High School

Owned a 75.1 scoring average at Rocklin High School…named Sierra Foothill League MVP twice as well as a four-time first team All-Sierra Foothill League honoree… selected to the All  Sacramento  River City girls golf team as a sophomore and junior… led team to first NorCal sectional championship win…tied the Rocklin record for lowest 9-hole dual match score with a 33 on Sept. 27, 2012…won the 2012 NCGA Junior Tournament at Stevenson Ranch and placed second at the Sierra Foothill League Tournament…also had four Top 10 finishes at NCGA Junior tournaments.
