Enrique Cardenas Named Anteater of the Week

Irvine, Calif.--- UC Irvine men's soccer player Enrique Cardenas has been named this week's Anteater of the Week.
Cardenas has been chosen as the Anteater of the Week for the third time this season after helping the 'Eaters win their fourth Big West Tournament title in school history. In the semifinal game against UC Davis, the forward scored the game-winner, and in the final against Cal State Northridge he had an assist on the lone goal of the game and was named tournament MVP. For the tournament Cardenas totaled three points, moving him into third place in the Big West with 22 on the season. With eight goals on the season Cardenas leads the 'Eaters, and is third in the Conference.
The winner of North Carolina and South Florida will travel to Anteater Stadium to face UCI in the NCAA Tournament at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24.
