NCAA West Regional Information / Live Results
● The men's 10,000-meter race is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. Thirty-one teams are entered from universities in California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada.
● UCI's entires are Nolan Del Valle, Riley Martin, Tommy Newton-Neal, Amir Shirif, Alex Tebbe, Isaiah Thompson and Jake Williams.
● Thompson was 2013 Big West Conference Freshman of the Year after leading UCI with a 13th-place finish at the conference meet.
● The top two teams from each of the nine NCAA regionals will automatically advance to the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind., Nov. 23. The top four individuals from teams not advancing will also qualify for the national meet.
● UCI head coach Vince O'Boyle, in his 32nd year, is in his final season with the 'Eaters. He announced in September that he will be retiring, effective Dec. 31.
