Camille Buckley Named Anteater of the Week

Irvine, Calif. --- UC Irvine women's basketball player Camille Buckley has been named this week's Anteater of the Week.
Buckley was awarded with the Big West Player of the week honor for her performance against South Dakota where she tallied 15 points and a game-high eight rebounds. She also recorded two steals in 27 minutes of action. The forward drained two key free throws with 1:29 remaining to put the Anteaters up by six in an eventual 68-64 victory.
The senior has led the team in rebounding in 25 of her 30 career games at UCI and has led the team in scoring on 14 occasions. Dating back to last season, Buckley has recorded double-figure points in 14 of the last 16 games. She was selected to the All-Big West second team as a junior.
The 'Eaters will travel to Malibu to take on Pepperdine, Thursday (Nov 14th) and then travel to Nevada on Sunday (Nov. 17th). This will be the start of a nine game road trip for UC Irvine.
