Luciane Lee Leads Anteaters To A Second Place Finish At The Rose City Collegiate

Aurora, OR -- UC Irvine, behind a second place performance by sophomore Luciane Lee, finished in a tie for second at the Rose City Collegiate held at the Langdon Farms Golf Club.
The Anteaters shot a two-day total of 600 (299-301) to tie Gonzaga for second place. Oregon State won the tournament with a 10-over par 586 (293-293). The event was reduced from 54 holes to 36 due to rain.
Lee shot a two round total of 143 (71-72), coming up one stroke shy of medlaist Anica Yoo of Oregon State 142 (69-73).
Junior Michelle Yang led all players with 28 Pars and posted a 14th place finish with a score of 151 (76-75), while senior Sara Banke was tied for 20th at 154 (76-78) and senior Ronnie Valerio was tied for 38th at 157 (76-81). Freshman Kaley In was tied for 41st in her first collegiate tournament with a score of 158 (82-76).
UCI returns to action Oct. 7-9 at the Price's Give 'Em Five Intercollegiate held at the New Mexico State Gold Course.
