Final Stats

LONDON, England --- Team USA started the elimination round with a big first win over Italy, 9-6, Sunday at the London 2012 Olympics Water Polo Arena.

The Italians took control early, but the U.S. went on a run in the second period and never relinquished the lead.

The Americans will play in the semifinals against Australia who survived a shootout against China. They will play Tuesday at a time and channel to be determined. Keep up to date on the UCI Athletics Twitter feed for the game time and where to watch it.
