Boulder City, Nevada -- UC Irvine opened the second half of the schedule in sixth place after the first day of competition at the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational at the Cascata Golf Club Monday.

The Anteaters shot a 613 (305-308) over 36 holes and sit in sixth place entering the final round Tuesday. 17th-ranked Arizona leads the field with a score of 583 (289-294).

Senior Lalita Patipaksiri leads UCI with a score of 151 (78-73) which is tied for 21st. Michelle Yang is tied for 26th at 154 (74-80) and Sara Banke is tied for 29th with a two-round total of 155 (79-76). Michelle Park is tied for 33rd with a score of 156 (74-82) and sophomore Ronnie Valerio is tied for 42nd at 160 (81-79).

The Anteaters tee off in a shot-gun start tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
