Final Women's Results
LA JOLLA, Calif. --- The UC Irvine women's cross country team placed 12th at the Triton Classic on the UC San Diego campus in La Jolla Saturday.
Emma Archuleta led the Anteaters with a 42nd-place finish of 23:7.9 over 6,000 meters as San Diego State's Marianne Hogan was the race winner in 22:06.1.
UCI's Camille Maron was 55th in 24:11.7, Katherine Kass finished 64th in 24:17.6, Nicole Mendoza was 70th in 24:26.9 and Nicole Kent 82nd in 24:40.8.
Jewelz Andrews placed 92nd (24:45.1) and Emily McCarty was 136th (25:30.8) to complete the Anteaters' top seven.
UCI finished with 297 points as Loyola Marymount was the team champion with 71.
The Anteaters compete in the Highlander Invitational at UC Riverside Saturday.
