CLAREMONT, Calif. --- Bojan Hrlec scored four goals and Mitch Wise added three to lead fourth-ranked UC Irvine over Whittier College, 18-4, in the Gary Troyer Tournament at Haldeman Pool in Claremont Saturday.

Alan Robertson, Winston Newland, Chris Swieca and Kyle Adama added two each for the 'Eaters, who improved to 13-3 on the season.

UCI led 7-1 after the first quarter and 13-3 at halftime. 

Hrlec, Robertson and Blake Terry scored unanswered goals in the third quarter, with Wise and Swieca notching the first two goals in the fourth period.

All three UCI goalies played in the game with Alex Kazmier recording five saves in the first half, Dylan Peterson three in the third quarter and Michael Bailey one in the fourth.

The 'Eaters continue play in the tournament later Saturday afternoon, meeting Cal Lutheran at 3:20 at the La Verne Aquatic Center.
