ALUMNI IN THE POOL SATURDAY
● A large group is expected once again for the annual Alumni game Saturday at 12 noon at the Anteater Aquatics Complex.
HOME LOOKS GOOD
● The 'Eaters, after playing 15 consecutive games away from home, host UC Santa Barbara in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation game Sunday at noon.
● That will start a streak of four out of the next five games at Anteater Aquatics Complex for coach Marc Hunt's squad, which hosts top-ranked USC Oct. 25 at 7:00 p.m.
QUICK HITS
● UCI's MPSF game at UCLA Nov. 18 has a new start time of 10:30 a.m. and will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.
● UCI fell in its MPSF opener, 10-6, at Pepperdine last Saturday. Junior Mitch Wise scored a game-high three goals for the 'Eaters.
● Junior Bojan Hrlec leads UCI with 49 goals and he ranks third in the MPSF with an average of 2.72 goals per game.
● Junior Mitch Wise, who has scored 45 goals on the season, ranks sixth in the MPSF at 2.50 goals per game.
● Senior Nick Pfeil has scored 26 goals this season with a high of four in the Sept. 1 win over Redlands. He ranks 21st in the MPSF at 1.44 goals per game.
● Sophomore Jacob Mourer has 24 goals, with a high of four in the season-opening victory over Chapman Sept. 1. He is 22nd in the MPSF with an average of 1.33 goals per contest.
● Sophomore Alan Robertson has a pair of hat tricks this season and has scored 19 goals.
● Senior Winston Newland has scored 18 goals this year, including hat tricks in wins over Pacific and Occidental.
● Redshirt freshman Chris Swieca also has scored 18 goals this season with a high of three in the win over Cal Lutheran at the Gary Troyer Tournament.
● Junior goalie Alex Kazmier has 121 saves this season with a high of 17 in the Sept. 16 overtime win over UC Santa Barbara in the fifth-place game of the NorCal Tournament. He ranks fifth in the MPSF with an average of 10.19 saves per game.
● Redshirt sophomore goalie Dylan Peterson has recorded 47 saves this season.
● Sophomore Michael Bailey has 17 saves in six appearances this season.
ON THE HORIZON
● The 'Eaters host USC in an MPSF game Oct. 25 at 7:00 p.m. before traveling to Stanford for a noon game on Oct. 27.
● UCI will then return home to face California Nov. 1 and Pacific Nov. 2 in MPSF games at 7:00 p.m. The Pacific game is the season's home finale.
