IRVINE, Calif. --- The UC Irvine basketball teams were introduced during the "Midnight Magic" celebration at SHOCKTOBERFEST 2012 Friday night before a packed crowd at the Bren Events Center.

The Anteater women's team took the men down to the last shot before falling in the annual three-point shooting contest.

Coach Doug Oliver's UCI squad hosts Cal State San Marcos in an exhibition game Oct. 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the Bren.
