IRVINE, Calif. --- The UC Irvine Baseball program will host its annual Alumni Weekend Feb. 3-5, 2012.

The weekend kicks off Friday, Feb. 3 at Anteater Ballpark where participating alumni are invited to take batting practice from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Registration for the alumni games opens at 9:00 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 4) at the right-field gate of Anteater Ballpark. Those alumni who have signed up to compete in the "Old-Timers' Game" are invited to warm up on the field from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. The "Old-Timers" game will be scheduled for 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. At noon, the alumni will then take on the 2012 Anteaters in a seven-inning game, allowing fans to get an early look at the team. Following the game, there will be a reception for the alumni in Newkirk Pavilion at 2:30 p.m. Entry into Saturday's games will be free and open to the public.
