UC Irvine in the National Rankings This Week

THIS WEEK IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Men's Soccer, 9-2-0 -- #7 in NSCAA Poll (#1 in Far West Region)
Men's Water Polo, 10-6 -- #7 in CWPA Poll
Women's Soccer, 7-3-2 -- #24 in TopDrawerSoccer.com (#4 in West Region)
IRVINE, Calif. --- Three UC Irvine teams are ranked in the Top 25 in this week's national polls.
Coach George Kuntz's men's soccer team, 9-2-0, is ranked No. 7 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll.
The 'Eaters, who are ranked No. 1 in the Far West Region, are coming off a 2-0 win at Big West Conference rival UC Santa Barbara last Saturday. UCI travels to Cal State Fullerton tonight before hosting Cal State Northridge Saturday night at 7:00 at Anteater Stadium.
Coach Marc Hunt's men's water polo squad is 10-6 and ranked No. 7 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association national poll. UCI faces Whittier and Occidental Saturday in the Convergence Tournament at La Verne before hosting UCLA in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation game Sunday at noon at Anteater Pool.
Coach Scott Juniper's women's soccer team, 7-3-2 overall, is ranked 24th this week by TopDrawerSoccer.com.
UCI is at home in Big West action this weekend, facing UC Santa Barbara Friday night at 7:00 and Cal Poly Sunday afternoon at 1:00 at Anteater Stadium.
