USA-Brazil Scoresheet

GUADALAJARA, Mexico --- UC Irvine alums Ryan Bailey, Tim Hutten and Jeff Powers combined for five goals in Team USA's 8-5 victory over Brazil in the Pan American Games at Scotiabank Aquatics Center in Guadalajara, Mexico, Monday.

Bailey, a three-time Olympian, scored two goals as did Hutten, a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic squad.  Powers, a veteran of two Olympics, added a goal in the win over the Brazilians.   The Americans capitalized on a 3-1 margin in the fourth quarter to season the victory.

Team USA faces Argentina to close out group play Tuesday.

Hutten was the 2008 recipient of the prestigious Peter J. Cutino Award given annually to the top player in the NCAA.  All three players earned multiple All-America honors while competing for UCI.
