Final Results
FULLERTON, Calif. --- Amir Shirif led UC Irvine at Friday's Titan Invitational on the Cal State Fullerton campus.
Shirif finished 22nd of 128 runners with a time of 25:23.7 over the 8,000-meter course. Trevor Smith placed 51st in 26:16 and Alan Callison III was 92nd in 27:29.3.
Sergy Sushchikh, competing unattached, won the race in 24:05.9.
UCI did not field a complete team in the invitational that was won by Cal State San Marcos with 18 points.
The Anteaters compete in the Big West Conference Championships next Saturday (Oct. 29) at UC Riverside's Agricultural Operations Course with the men's 8,000 meters scheduled to begin at 8:45 a.m.
