Kylie Miller joins the Anteaters as an assistant coach, bringing prior Big West knowledge and a successful playing career with her.
Miller served as an assistant coach at CSUN from 2022-2023, serving as the recruiting coordinator. She began her collegiate coaching career at Claremont Mudd-Scripps in 2021. Miller helped CMS to a school record 31 wins, a 16-0 mark in conference play, and an NCAA Division III semifinal appearance.
She is currently a coach at Forza1 Volleyball North.
As a student-athlete, Miller spent her first three years at UCLA. The native of Rancho Cucamonga played in 179 career sets for the Bruins and accumulated 1,278 assists, 34 aces and 211 digs. In her first season setting for the Bruins in 2016, UCLA reached the Elite 8 and finished ranked No. 6 in the country. In her senior season, she transferred to the University of Minnesota, where she helped lead the Gophers to a 27-6 overall record and a Final Four appearance. Miller was named to the Austin Region All-Tournament Team as well as Big Ten Setter of the Week three times.
Miller prepped at Rancho Cucamonga High School and was an Under Armour All-American as well as a candidate for California Gatorade Player of the Year. She was ranked as the #11 overall recruit by PrepVolleyball and the #1 setting recruit in her 2016 class. Miller was a standout club volleyball player for Forza1 North Volleyball Club where she led her teams to four medals at Junior Nationals, including three straight from 2010-12.
Miller was also a successful player on the beach, winning two gold medals at Nationals in pairs competition. At the AAU Olympic Games, she garnered the Joel Ferrell Memorial Award which recognizes the athletic ability and sportsmanship.
