Kendal Price joined the UC Irvine coaching staff in the fall of 2017, and works primarily with the horizontal jumpers.
Price (formerly Nielsen) competed in the long jump, triple jump and relays at Cal Poly, where she was a two-time team captain. Price was a conference finalist in both jumps all four years of her collegiate career, and as a senior she was crowned the Big West triple jump champion with a personal-record 42-06.25. That mark ranks third on the Mustangs' all-time performance list.
Price was also a three-time NCAA West Regional competitor in the triple jump and a USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree. She graduated from Cal Poly in 2016 with a degree in Geographic Information Systems.
Price is a USATF Level 1 certified coach and resides in Aliso Viejo with her husband, Carter.
