• Placed 11th in the 3000m at the UNM Lobo Collegiate Open (12:25.08)
• Added a 15th-place showing in the mile at the Air Force Invitational
High School
• Competed in cross country, track and basketball at St. Francis High School
• Named the 2008 Delta River League Runner of the Year
• Set a school record at the Woodward Park Invitational (18:33)
• Earned Sacramento Bee first-team All-Metro honors
• Also garnered first-team CIF-Sac Joaquin Section recognition as a senior
• Received the General Excellence Award for a 4.0 GPA all four years at St. Francis HS
