Hannah Mitchell joined the Academic and Student Services team in August 2022, where she currently serves as the Student-Athlete Development Counselor.
In her role, Hannah is responsible for the creation and implementation of student-athlete development programs and initiatives that promote the holistic growth of all UC Irvine student-athletes. In addition to program development, Hannah is also the advisor for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Black Student-Athlete Alliance (BSAA).
Before coming to UC Irvine, Hannah worked at UCLA as an Academic Mentor for Football, Track & Field, Women’s Soccer, Softball, and Women’s Basketball. She graduated in 2019 from University of La Verne, where she earned a B.A. in Communications. In 2022, Hannah received her M.Ed. in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs with a focus in Athletic Administration from University of Southern California.
