Bren Advisory Board
Mission:
The Board is an advisory board that shall ask for, listen to, and discuss the viability of implementing all suggestions offered by all UC Irvine students and Irvine Community members regarding the establishment and implementation of operating policies for the Bren Events Center.
Operation/Policy Duties of the Board- The Board shall be advisory to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.
- The Board shall recommend for approval facility operating policies to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics or designee.
- The Board shall have full access to documents concerning the facility in accordance with University Policy and Procedures.
- The Board shall review and recommend for approval by the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics the following:
- General use policy.
- The general re-assignment of space.
- Space changes to the facility.
- The annual budget and any mid-year budget adjustments. The budget and any adjustments shall be submitted through the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics or designee for campus approval. In addition, the Board shall receive periodic budget performance reports.
- Rent assessments.
- Hours of operation.
