Ryan Fresca joins the 'Eaters as a six-foot-three attacker and two-year varsity starter at Carlsbad High School. He played for Del Mar Water Polo Club, helping the team earn a bronze medal at last year's Junior Olympics after taking home silver the year prior. Fresca leads the group of newcomers so far this season with 13 points on 12 assists and one goal. He opened his collegiate career with three points on one goal and two assists against Chapman on Aug. 28 and has recorded two or more assists in five of UCI's first 10 games.
