
Three Anteaters Named to CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team

IRVINE, Calif. - UC Irvine men's water polo had three student-athletes named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District At-Large Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Cole Francisco, Maddox McEwen, and Keegan McGann earned their first career academic all-district honor. The sophomore trio were also ACWPC and Big West All-Academic selections.
Francisco had another standout season, leading the Anteaters in assists (38), while ranking second on the squad with 31 goals and 69 points. He received his second career postseason award, making the All-Big West Second Team. Francisco is majoring in psychological science.
McEwen finished the 2025 season with 14 goals and nine assists. He had three multi-goal performances including a career-high four against Cal Lutheran. McEwen is majoring in business economics.
McGann closed out his sophomore campaign with six goals and 15 assists. He found the back of the net twice against Cal State Fullerton and dished out a career-high two assists on four occasions. McGann is majoring in business administration.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Water polo student-athletes also must have played in 90% of their team's total games or have started 66% of their team's games.
