Tang and Harashima Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

IRVINE, Calif. - Senior Rei Harashima and junior Jason Tang represented UC Irvine men's golf on the 2025-26 Academic All-District At-Large Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
This is the first career academic all-district honor for both Harashima and Tang.
Harashima was a second-team All-Big West selection for the third year in a row. He led the Anteaters in eight of their 11 tournaments. Harashima had his second top-10 showing of the year at the Big West Championship where he tied for seventh at 4-under 212. He closed out his senior campaign with a team-best 72.61 scoring average. Harashima recently graduated with a degree in economics.
Tang ranked third on the squad with a 75.36 stroke average. He had a pair of top-25 showings at the Oregon State Invitational (21st) and the Big West Championship (23rd). Tang is majoring in business administration.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Golfers also must be in the lineup for 75% of an institution's team scoring events or be in the lineup at the conference championship tournament.
