Harashima Named to All-Big West Second Team

IRVINE, Calif. - Senior Rei Harashima has been named to the 2025-26 All-Big West Men's Golf Team the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Harashima earned second-team distinction for the third year in a row. It is his fourth career all-conference award as he was also an honorable mention selection in 2022-23.
Harashima led UC Irvine in eight of the team's 11 tournaments. He had his second top-10 showing of the year at the Big West Championship where he tied for seventh with a 4-under 212 (74-67-71). His second-round 67 was an 18-hole season best. Harashima also carded a 6-under 210 (74-68-68) to tie for fifth at the UC San Diego Invitational. During the fall, he shot 4-under (69-69-71) at the Ka'anapali Classic and came in at even par (68-72-76) at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational.
Harashima closed out his senior campaign with a team-leading 72.61 scoring average. He had 16 rounds at or below par.
