IRVINE, Calif. --- A parking advisory is in effect to all UC Irvine Athletics fans attending events April 18-19 with high-profile events on the UCI Athletics complex.
Fans are advised to plan extra time when coming to campus for sporting events like UC Irvine men's volleyball vs. Long Beach State and UC Irvine baseball vs. UC Santa Barbara both expecting large crowds Saturday, April 18, as they may experience longer waits when arriving or leaving. Saturday is also Celebrate UCI on the UC Irvine campus with large amounts of festival-goers on campus and around the athlietics facilities throughout the day.
On Sunday, April 19, UC Irvine baseball completes their series against UC Santa Barbara with a 1:00 p.m. first pitch. The Bren Events Center will also be hosting the Winter Guard Association of Southern California (WGASC) Color Guard Championships throughout the day leading to more large crowds and potential longer wait times due to impacted parking. Fans again are advised to plan extra time when coming to campus to attend any events.
