IRVINE, Calif. — UC Irvine women's tennis (0-2) continues its dual-match season this Saturday (Feb. 7) on the road against Santa Clara before heading to UC Davis for its conference-opener on Sunday, Feb. 8.

Scouting Santa Clara
Santa Clara (1-2) hosts UCI for a match on Saturday coming off of a 7-0 away loss against Boise State on Feb. 1. Santa Clara's sole victory of the year came against Montana State where the Broncos defeated the Bobcats 6-1 on Jan. 31.
SCU comes into 2026 after finishing with an 8-12 dual match record in 2025.
Scouting UC Davis
UCD (2-5, 0-2) has already played in seven dual matches in 2026, with two of them being against Big West opponents (Cal Poly/UC Santa Barbara). The Aggies'Â two victories came in a Jan. 24 doubleheader against Pacific and Jessup, where UC Davis took home 4-0 and 7-0 victories, respectively.
UCD went 11-14 in 2025 with a 3-6 record in Big West play, good for an eighth place regular season finish in the conference. The Aggies upset No. 5 seeded UC San Diego in the first round of the Big West Championship, but fell to No. 4 seeded Long Beach State 4-0 in the second round of the championship.
