IRVINE, Calif. – No. 5 UC Irvine improved to 8-0 with a 3-1 victory (27-25, 23-25, 25-20, 25-13) over No. 16 Stanford at the Bren Events Center Friday night.

William D'Arcy led UCI with 16 kills followed by outside hitter
Andrej Jokanovic with 15. D'Arcy totaled a season-high eight digs and a career-high five block assists, while Jokanovic had a career-best four block assists and two aces.
The Anteaters out-blocked (12.0-8.5) and out-hit (.333-.183) the Cardinal. Middle blocker
Beck Weber hit .714 Â with a career-high five kills in seven swings and a career-tying eight block assists. His eight blocks are tied for second most among Big West players this season.
