IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine women's tennis (0-2) fell at home against Nevada (1-1) on Sunday, 7-0.

The Anteaters started the day with three doubles matches against the Wolfpack, dropping two before the third match between UCI's Haily Huynh/Yen Nhi Huynh and Nevada's Charrier/Robinson went unfinished due to UNR clinching the doubles point in the previous match.

UC Irvine once again struggled in singles play on Sunday, dropping all matches played against Nevada. After missing singles matches against Houston on Friday, UCI's Carolyna Fowler returned to action on Sunday, playing a hard-fought two-set match on the third line, ultimately dropping the match with final scores of 6-4 and 6-3.

The Anteaters will take a three-week hiatus, returning to play on Saturday, Feb. 7, away at Santa Clara.
