IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine women's volleyball welcomed nine newcomers to the 2025 roster. The Anteaters will have three transfers and six freshmen joining the squad.
"This class is a good mixture of experienced transfers and talented freshmen," head coach

Angelina Dellutri
5-8 / Fr. / Setter / Burbank, Calif. / Village Christian High School
Angelina Dellutri was prepped at Village Christian where she was a two-time all-league selection. The team captain received a certificate of excellence as a senior. Dellutri played at City Volleyball Club.
Lois HansenÂ
6-3 / So. / OH / Yorba Linda, Calif. / UC Santa Barbara / Hawaii
Lois Hansen appeared in 10 matches for the UC Santa Barbara in 2024, rejecting a season-best seven block assists versus St. John's (Sept. 7). She posted a career-high 19 kills, while hitting .326 clip plus five block assists against San Diego (Sept. 8). In 2023, the outside hitter was a member of the 2023 Big West Regular Season Championship team that competed at the NCAA Tournament, but did not appear in any matches that season. Following the 2024 season, Hansen spent the spring season in Hawaii before transferring to UCI. She attended Yorba Linda High School where she earned all-league first team honors while being a scholar-athlete.
Addie Kannegeisser
6-1 / Fr. / MB / Folson, Calif. / Folsom High School
Addie Kannegeisser was a first-team all-league performer at Folsom High School. She was named MVP in 2023 as well as chosen as an Under Armour Next Player. She played club volleyball at SynergyForce.
Lillian Lansing
5-11 / Fr. / OPP/OH / Portland, Ore. / Jesuit High School
Lillian Lansing becomes the second athlete not from the state of California on the roster. She graduated from Jesuit High School where she earned All-Metro League Player of the Year as well as all-conference honors three times, including first team her final two seasons. Lansing was named All-State and honored as the Most Valuable Player at the state championships. She was a member of the Athena Volleyball Club. Â
Abby Pekrul
6-0 / MB / Fr. / Murrieta, Calif. / Temecula Preparatory High School
Abby Pekrul hails from Temecula Preparatory High School where she was a two-time league MVP as well as a two-time first team all-league selection. Pekrul helped the Patriots to a pair of Patriot League championships. Played for 951 Elite Volleyball Club.
Izzy Romero
5-9 / Fr. / OH/ Fremont, Calif. / Archbishop Mitty High School
Isabella Romero was prepped at Archbishop Mitty High School where she was a WCAL second team pick. She was named the Top Rightside at the 2022 West Coast Cup as well as Bay Area News Group Athlete of the Week. Romero is a three-time Norcal Open Division Champion with Mitty Volleyball.
Sydnee Rowe
5-10 / Graduate / MB / Gardena, Calif. / UC Riverside
Sydnee Rowe is no stranger to the Big West transferring from UC Riverside. She will be in UCI's Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship program for her final year. The Big West All-Academic honoree averaged 1.21 kills per set as a senior with Highlanders, hitting .239 in 115 sets. Rowe hit .583 in a five-set victory over Long Beach State, the fourth highest hitting percentage in a Big West for a five-set match last season. She averaged 1.42 kills in 2023 after transferring from Feather River College where she led the team to the 3C2A State Championship after a 36-1 season. Rowe was prepped at Carson High School and was a member of the Long Beach Volleyball Club.
Madison Triplett
5-9 / So. / OH / Lakeside, Calif. / UC Santa Barbara
Madison Tripplett was a teammate of Hansen's at UC Santa Barbara. She played in 17 matches, seeing action in 55 sets as a freshman in 2024. She recorded 11 digs versus 25th-ranked Georgia then had a career-best 21 versus Omaha. She was named Grossmont Hills League MVP twice at El Capitan High School as well as first team all-league three times. The San Diego All-CIF selection helped lead the Vaqueros to a league championship and graduated as the career leader in kills with 1,510.
Brianna Brewer
5-10 / Fr. / OH / Fontana, Calif. / Rancho Cucamonga High School
Comes to UC Irvine from Rancho Cucamonga High School where she was a member of the undefeated Baseline League Championship team. The outside hitter will look to make a future impact on the court in 2026.
