IRVINE, Calif. – Sophomore
Kailah McKenzie won her second-straight Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Week award the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.

McKenzie recorded a lifetime-best 6.33 meters (20-9.25) to win the long jump at the Challenge Cup, which UC Irvine hosted last Saturday. In her home debut, McKenzie surpassed 20 feet on five-straight attempts, including her final leap where she notched her personal record. McKenzie's distance ranks first in all of NCAA Division I this season. She also moved up three spots to No. 2 in program history with the Anteaters' best mark since 1983.

This is McKenzie's third career Big West weekly award.
