SPOKANE, Wash. – For the second-straight day, senior
Malia Gay came away with an event win and school record at the Riverfront Invitational & Multis at The Podium.

On Saturday, just 24 hours after taking down the 800m school record, Gay did the same in the 600m. She finished ahead of the pack in 1:32.23, beating the previous standard of 1:33.74 that was set by Emma McCarthy in 2023.

Anna Vogtmann claimed runner-up honors in the mile, clocking a personal-best 4:57.66. Her time ranks second in program history.

Esmeray Demirbas also notched a lifetime-best 55.36 in the 400m to move up two spots to No. 2 among UCI's all-time leaders. Junior
Lauren Aquino (57.41) and sophomore
Amelia Trautman (57.78) added personal records.

Halle Sutherland advanced to the 60m final where she crossed the finish line in 7.52 seconds. She improved on her No. 2 time in school history with a PR for the third-straight meet. Junior
Samantha Bartz also bettered her 60m best at 7.65 seconds which ranks fifth all-time in school history.

In the 60m hurdles, seniors
Jazzmine Davis (8.64) and
Reyna Johnson (8.71) advanced out of the prelims. Johnson saw an improvement with a time of 8.60 seconds in the final to place fourth.

Ihe Okoh and Trautman closed out the meet in the 4x400 (3:52.11).
The 'Eaters will return to The Podium in Spokane, Washington, for the MPSF Championships, Feb. 21-22.
