MORAGA, Calif. – The 36th-ranked UC Irvine men's tennis team extended its win streak to three with a 4-0 victory over Saint Mary's Saturday at Timothy Korth Tennis Complex.

The Anteaters (4-2) took the early advantage in doubles with the 88th-ranked duo of
Andy Nguyen and
Noah Zamora defeating Paulo Hugo Etchecoin/Thibaud Maxant, 6-3, at the top of the lineup.
Sohrob Amiryavari and
Max Fardanesh then secured the 1-0 lead with a 7-6 (7-5) win over Ellison Greco/Carlos Ramos Membriv at No. 3.

The 'Eaters kept the momentum in singles.
Rithvik Krishna made quick work of Finn Dyer, 6-1, 6-3, at the fourth position. Nguyen was next off the court, dispatching Etchecoin, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 2.
Three of the four remaining matches were in a third set and Fardanesh was on the brink of joining them, but he finished strong for the 6-4, 7-6 match-clinching victory over Pierre Lieutaud at the fifth spot.

Ruining Huang was up 6-2, 4-6, 5-1 at No. 3 when the match was called. On court one, Zamora was even with Ramos Membriv, 6-3, 4-6, 3-3.

UC Irvine continues its weekend road trip at No. 6 Stanford on Sunday, Feb. 23. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
