2026 Schedule
IRVINE, Calif. - The UC Irvine women's water polo team has unveiled their 2026 slate.
The Anteaters open the campaign at the Fresno State Invitational, Jan. 17-18. That tournament is followed by a trip down to La Jolla for the Triton Invitational (Jan. 30-Feb. 1).
UC Irvine will travel up to Los Angeles to take on LMU (Feb. 6) before facing UCLA on Feb. 7.Â
The 'Eaters then begin a seven-game homestand when they host the Barbara Kalbus Invitational, Feb. 13-15.
UCI continues its home stint when it hosts UC San Diego, Feb. 20, to kick off Big West action. The annual alumni competition will take place on Feb. 21 before the Anteaters entertain the reigning back-to-back Big West champions Hawai'i on Feb. 27. The block of matches at Aneater Aquatics Complex concludes on March 1 when they host UC Davis for a Big West match up.Â
The 'Eaters continue conference play when they travel to UC Santa Barbara on March 6. UCI then takes a quick trip to Claremont for the Convergence Tournament on March 7.Â
UC Irvine returns home for four straight games at Anteater Aquatics Complex. On March 10, the Anteaters will take on Concordia in a cross-town showdown. UCI then faces Cal State Fullerton in a Big West match up on March 11 before meeting with California Baptist on March 13. The 'Eaters wrap up their home slate on March 22 when they host Harvard.Â
UCI clashes with CSUN for a conference match in Northridge on March 25, before capping off the regular season with the Black and Blue rivalry on April 2 at Long Beach State.
UC Irvine travels to Long Beach for the Big West Championship from April 10-12 at Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center. The tournament champion earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships, which will be held April 24-26 in La Jolla.
