Men's Tennis Reveals 2026 Dual Match Schedule

Schedule

IRVINE, Calif. –
The two-time defending Big West champion UC Irvine men's tennis team has released its schedule for the upcoming 2026 dual match season.

The Anteaters' 19-match regular-season slate features five opponents that made the NCAA tournament in 2025. They are set to kick off the campaign at UCLA on Jan. 17. Last year, the Bruins advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship.

UCI then has two weeks off before its home opener against Grand Canyon on Jan. 31.

The 'Eaters start the month of February at San Diego, who they squared off against in the 2025 NCAA First Round on May 3. The Toreros advanced with a hard-fought 4-2 victory. The tough road stretch continues on Feb. 8 with a trip to USC, which made an NCAA Third Round appearance last season.

The Anteaters return to Irvine for six of their next seven, starting with Saint Mary's (Feb. 21), San Diego State (Feb. 22), and Villanova (March 3). After making the short drive to LMU, they will be back at Anteater Tennis Stadium to face VCU (March 11), Navy (March 13), and Air Force (March 14).

UC Irvine then travels to Boise State (March 22), which earned an at-large bid to its third-straight NCAA tournament last year, before closing out non-conference action at home against Dartmouth on March 26.

The 'Eaters begin their Big West slate at UC Davis on March 31. They will play three of their remaining five conference matches at home, entertaining UC Riverside (April 6), Cal Poly (April 10), and Hawai'i (April 17). Their match-up with UC Santa Barbara will be on the road on April 12, while they wrap up the regular season at UC San Diego on April 18.

The Big West Championships are scheduled for April 22-25, 2026, at Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.
