CSCÂ At-Large Academic All-District Team

Brooke Hourigan, fifth year senior
Jensine Bugelli, and junior
Gabby Norris have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District Team.
All three honorees have been named on the list for two consecutive seasons.
Hourigan, the transfer, finished her first season as an Anteater third on the team in goals (31) and fourth in points (44). The attacker recorded a season best four goals twice during the 2024 campaign. Hourigan is working towards her master's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Bugelli led the team with 36 steals in 2024 which ranked eighth in the Big West. The attacker also posted season bests in goals (26) and assists (33). The senior is a three-time Big West All-Academic Team Member (2021, 2022, 2023), and four-time ACWPC All-Academic Team recipient (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023). Bugelli just graduated with her degree in Criminology, Law, and Society.
Norris totaled a career high 36 points behind a season best 22 assists. The attacker doubled her steal total from the previous year (8) as well. Norris placed on both the ACWPC All-Academic and Big West Spring Academic teams in 2023 and just graduated with her degree in Business Administration.
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. Student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and have competed in 90% of the team's total games played OR have started 66% of the team's total games. The At-Large category includes the sports of water polo, fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, men's volleyball, and wrestling.
