IRVINE, Calif. – William D'Arcy and Connor Campbell provided highlights in No. 5 UC Irvine's 3-0 victory (25-20, 25-16, 25-20) over Concordia at CU Arena.

D'Arcy bettered his career-high in kills for the second consecutive night and third time in four matches with 12, joining Hilir Henno as the team leader in that category. The opposite also recorded six digs and an ace.

Henno hit .407 (12-1-27) with four blocks.

Middle blocker Connor Campbell did not commit an error in 13 attempts with 11 kills, hitting .846, which is tied for the ninth best mark in attempts up to 14 in the country this season.

UCI wins its fourth in a row and improves to 10-4 overall.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
>Outside hitter Akhil Tangutur had a team-high eight digs to go with three kills
>Setter Brett Sheward had a team-high three total blocks (1 solo), 31 set assists and four digs
>Middle blocker Maxim Grigoriev added five kills, while libero Cole Power had six digs

>Two Hilir Henno kills and an ace by Conner Dahm off a retreating Concordia player
>Akhil Tangutur cut the ball cross court just over the net then pounded the next ball on the overpass to extend the lead to 21-14
>A 5-1 spurt by Concordia which included four UCI errors kept CUI in the set, 22-19
>The Anteaters answered on a kill by Grigoriev and a block by Grigoriev and Brett Sheward, 24-19
>The Anteaters would win on a CUI service error, 25-20

SECOND SET
>Kills by William D'Arcy and Grigoriev and two Concordia attack errors pushed UCI out to a 4-1 lead
>Three Concordia miscues and two Connor Campbell kills in a 5-1 UCI run made it 14-8
>A Henno kill forced a Concordia timeout, 21-13
>Back-to-back kills by Campbell sealed the 25-16 victory

THIRD SET
>Concordia jumped out to an early 4-1 lead
>Five in a row which included a solo block by Sheward and an ace by Tangutur pushed the Anteaters in front 9-7
>A kill and ace by Grigoriev was followed by a kill by Campbell, 15-12
>UCI continued to lead the rest of the way, ending the match on a D'Arcy kill and a Concordia attack into the net, 25-20
