RIVERSIDE, Calif. – UC Irvine hit a season-high .326 on the way to a sweep of UC Riverside (25-18, 25-20, 25-15) Saturday the SRC Arena.

The Anteaters hit .326 (40-10-92) for the match, including .500 (17-1-32) in the second set.

Outside hitter Kendra MacDonald led UCI with 13 kills, hitting .458 (13-2-24). She was one shy of a double-double with nine digs.

With seven digs against the Highlanders, libero Campbell Jensen broke the 1,000 plateau with 1,006 in her career. She also had two aces in the win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
>Outside hitter Katie Smith recorded nine kills and five block assists
>Middle blocker Ofure Iselen was impressive in the middle, hitting .583 on seven kills in 12 swings without an error. She also had a team-best six block assists
>Setter Nicole Feliciano dished 30 set assists and had a match-high 13 digs. She also had two block assists and an ace
>Middle blocker Ella Gardiner added six kills, while opposite Hunter Riedl had five
>Indy De Smet (2) and Keelan Williams (1) added to ace total
>UCI out-blocked UCR 9-4 and held a 6-4 ace advantage
>UC Riverside, who hit .155 as a team, was led by Trinity Sheridan's match-high 14 kills

FIRST SET
>UC Riverside held an 8-4 lead before UCI used two Highlander errors and an ace by Keelan Williams to pull within 7-8
>The Anteaters would catch the Highlanders at 10-10 with a kill by Ofure Iselen
>UCI went on a 6-1 run that included an ace by Indy De Smet and two kills and a block assist by Ella Gardiner to put the Anteaters on top 17-14
>UCR answered with the next three to tie the set again, 17-17
>Tough serving by Keelan Williams help lead UCI to three in a row, capped a block by Iselen and Smith to take a 20-17 lead
>UCI would end the set with a kill by Iselen, two by Hunter Riedl and an ace by Nicole Feliciano, 25-18

SECOND SET
>A kill by Kendra MacDonald, solo block by Gardiner and a Highlander attack error moved UCI out to a 6-3 lead
>Gardiner put down a kill on a slide, 8-5
>Three unanswered by the Anteaters, a block by Smith and Iselen and a kill by each one forced a UC Riverside timeout, 12-6
>Out of the timeout, MacDonald came flying out of the backrow for a kill, 13-6
>A pair of Katie Smith kills made the advantage 20-14
>UCR scored three in a row, two on aces, to inch to 19-22
>UCI closed out the set scoring three of the final four on two kills by MacDonald and a Highlander error, 25-20
>UCI hit a blistering .500 (17-1-32)

THIRD SET
>UCR held a 6-5 lead until UCI took control of the set with eight in a row, including three on blocks, two by Iselen and Smith, 13-6
>A kill by MacDonald and an ace by DeSmet made it 19-11
>UCI scored the final four points of the match, the last a block by Iselen and Smith, 25-15

NOTES
>Feliciano moved into ninth in UCI career set assists with 1,631
>UCI snapped a two-match losing streak and is now 12-9 overall and 6-4
