SEASIDE, Calif. - The UC Irvine men's golf team finished 10th at the Leadership and Golf Collegiate Championship Wednesday at Bayonet Golf Course.

The Anteaters combined for a 5-count-4 total of 893 (298-294-301). Pacific came on strong in the final round, finishing at 9-under 855 to defeat No. 35 BYU by five strokes. The Tigers' Carlos Astiazaran was the individual champion with a 208 (-8).

Freshman
Jack Yu led the Anteaters as he tied for 13th at even-par 216 (72-69-75). It was his second top-20 showing in three collegiate tournaments.

Sophomore
Jason Tang tied for 51st with a 226 (79-71-76). Junior
JJ Nakao climbed 17 spots in the standings to tie for 56th. Nakao carded a final-round 72 (E) for UCI's best score of the afternoon, and his best of the three-day tournament. He finished with a 54-hole total of 228 (78-78-72).
