SAN DIEGO – UC Irvine wrapped up action at both the ITA Southwest Regional and Triton Fall Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
 
Kayla Meraz earned two victories at the ITA Southwest Regional with an easy defeat of LMU's Martina Bovia (6-1, 6-2) before going the distance with doubles partner Carolyna Fowler for the 8-7 (7-2) win.
 
Over at UC San Diego, both Mikaela Hinton and Maily Huynh had two-win days as well. The two were paired up in doubles where they collected the 8-3 win over Jawadi/Tabares from UCSD. Hinton continued her reign over the Tritons in her singles match where she handily defeated Kamya Nair, 6-1, 6-2. M. Huynh faced Cal Poly's Anushree Shekhera where it went back and forth before the freshman ultimately prevailed 6-3, 6-4.
