SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – UC Irvine had a season-high 10 blocks in a 3-2 loss to Cal Poly (25-16, 25-22, 22-25, 20-25, 8-15) at Mott Athletics Center.
The Anteaters out-blocked an opponent for the second time this season, 10-6. UCI hit .397 (30-3-68) in the first two sets then just .142 (29-15-98) in the final three games.
Cal Poly wins its fourth reverse sweep in the last seven matches, while UCI drops its second consecutive match after winning the first two sets.
