The 'Eaters (11-6, 4-0 Big West) remain the lone undefeated team in Big West play as the Aggies dropped to 11-6 overall and 4-1 in conference.

UCI has now won 10 matches in a row, while UCD, which was coming off big victories over Hawai'i and then No. 32 UC Santa Barbara, saw its run snapped at four.

UC Irvine got out to a strong start, taking the doubles point for a 1-0 lead.
Brandon Park and
Noah Zamora beat UC Davis' No. 1 duo of Mitchell Davis/Andrei Volgin, 6-4, to improve to 10-4 at the top of the lineup.

Lawee Sherif and
Thomas Smart then secured the early point with an identical 6-4 victory over Brett Brinkman/Sam De Vries at No. 2.

Rithvik Krishna continued his tear through singles play, dispatching Ryan Torres 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4. Krishna has won nine in a row and dropped only two sets during that stretch.

Zamora followed suit, upending Brinkman 6-2, 7-5 to put the 'Eaters on top, 3-0. He matched Krishna for the team's longest active win streak at nine.

Smart then delivered the match-clinching point with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over De Vries on court five.
