MILLBRAE, Calif. – Freshman Kiana Briggs leads the Anteaters after the first two rounds of the Silicon Valley Showcase at the Green Hills Country Club.

Briggs recorded five birdies and 20 pars over her two rounds and is tied for 13^th place heading into the final round. She shot a first round of 75 followed by a second round of 74 for a two-round total of 149.

Megan Yang is tied for 33^rd with a score of 156 (73-83), while Jasmine Chen is tied for 43^rd at 161 (78-83), Charlotte Ryoo had a 36-hole score of 164 (77-87) and Nicole Zhang is 52^nd with a total of 167 (86-81).

 As a team, UC Irvine is in seventh place, totaling a score of 624 (303-321).

The tournament concludes tomorrow with 18 holes beginning at 8:30 a.m.
