Anteaters Sweep Seawolves For Third Straight Win

Box Score STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Anteaters picked up their third consecutive win after defeating Stony Brook 4-0 on Monday.

The match was played clinch-clinch, leaving several individual games unfinished.
 
Asha Gidwani and Larissa Teramura assumed the No. 2 and No. 5 spots, each winning in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4. Gidwani holds a 9-2 record in singles play this season, improving to 2-1 at the second slot, and has won her last three matches.
 
At the sixth position, Carolyna Fowler earned her fourth consecutive win in singles play, going 6-1, 6-3 for the victory.

The duo of Gidwani and Amanda Perez improved to 8-2, 7-2 at the No. 3 spot, in doubles play with their 7-5 win and are on a five-match win streak.
 
Team captains, Alyssia Fossorier and Jenna Schlatter, found success in No. 2 doubles, pulling out the 6-4 victory in a tough match.
