IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine hit a season-high .380 in a 3-0 victory (25-18, 25-15, 25-22) Cal State Fullerton at Crawford Hall Thursday night.

Five Anteaters had seven or more kills, led by Hunter Riedl's 11. The opposite hit .455 with just one error in 22 attempts.

Outside hitters Emma Napoleon and Marianna Bertolone and middle blocker Ella Gardiner each had eight kills followed by middle blocker Isabella Scarlett with seven kills.

UCI tied their season-high in blocks with 10. Scarlett led all players with a career-high seven total blocks (1 solo, 6 assisted).

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
>UCI (9-17, 7-8) committed eight errors in 92 swings with 43 kills for the .380 hitting percentage, the 11^th best mark in the Big West this season
>Libero Campbell Jensen had a team-high eight digs and three aces
>Setter Nicole Feliciano totaled 34 set assists and four block assists

FIRST SET
>A block by Marianna Bertolone and Isabella Scarlett started the match, 1-0
>A 4-0 run by UCI which included two Campbell Jensen aces and two Titan attack errors propelled the Anteaters to a 13-6 lead
>Back-to-back kills by Hunter Riedl and Emma Napoleon made it 18-11
>Napoleon would record the set winner 25-18

SECOND SET
>UCI built a 4-1 lead on the strength of two kills by Marianna Bertolone and a Titan attack error
>A pair of kills by Riedl and solo block and kill by Scarlett moved the margin to 9-3
>Another 4-0 spurt by the Anteaters, an ace by Indy De Smet and kills by Nicole Feliciano and Ella Gardiner to UCI up 14-6
>A kill by Gardiner and consecutive blocks by Scarlett and Feliciano forced a Cal State Fullerton timeout, 18-8
>UCI had four of the last five points, the final two kills by Napoleon and Bertolone to close it out, 25-15

THIRD SET
>A 5-1 run that had three kills by Napoleon and two by Scarlet helped the Anteaters to an 8-4 advantage
>The Titans would close within 11-10 before UCI answered with a kill by Gardiner and a block by Bertolone and Scarlett, 13-10
>Cal State Fullerton would tie the set at 15-15 only to watch UCI answer with the next five, 20-15. Riedl, Gardiner, Napoleon and Scarlett had kills, while Gardiner and Riedl teamed for a block
>Three UCI errors kept the Titans in the set, 23-22 before Scarlett and Feliciano had a block and after a challenge for a touch, Bertolone was credited with the game-winner 25-22

UCI will play its final home match tomorrow (Nov. 10), hosting Hawaii at 6:00 p.m. in Crawford Court.
