IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine hit a season-high .380 in a 3-0 victory (25-18, 25-15, 25-22) Cal State Fullerton at Crawford Hall Thursday night.
Five Anteaters had seven or more kills, led by
Hunter Riedl's 11. The opposite hit .455 with just one error in 22 attempts.

Emma Napoleon and
Marianna Bertolone and middle blocker
Ella Gardiner each had eight kills followed by middle blocker
Isabella Scarlett with seven kills.
UCI tied their season-high in blocks with 10. Scarlett led all players with a career-high seven total blocks (1 solo, 6 assisted).

THIRD SET
>A 5-1 run that had three kills by Napoleon and two by Scarlet helped the Anteaters to an 8-4 advantage
>The Titans would close within 11-10 before UCI answered with a kill by Gardiner and a block by Bertolone and Scarlett, 13-10
>Cal State Fullerton would tie the set at 15-15 only to watch UCI answer with the next five, 20-15. Riedl, Gardiner, Napoleon and Scarlett had kills, while Gardiner and Riedl teamed for a block
>Three UCI errors kept the Titans in the set, 23-22 before Scarlett and Feliciano had a block and after a challenge for a touch, Bertolone was credited with the game-winner 25-22
