Anteaters Place 10th At Final Fall Tournament

Boulder City, Nevada – UC Irvine closed out the Fall schedule with a 10th place finish at The Clash At Boulder Creek at the Boulder Creek Golf Club Tuesday.
The Anteaters rounded out the action with a score of 875 (296-285-294), recording a season-best tying team score of 285 on the second round.
Sophomore Jasmine Chen led UCI with her first Top 20 performance of the season, placing in a tie for 14th with a score of four-under par 212 (71-68-73). She ranked third in Par4 scoring at six under (3.80) and had a team-best 10 birdies. Her second round of 68 ties her career-low.
Senior Megan Yang, who posted a season-low 68 on the second round, was tied for 32nd place, totaling a three-round score of 218 (76-68-74).
Junior Charlotte Ryoo had the team's best final round, shooting a one-under par 71. She was tied for 42nd place with a 54-hole total of 220 (73-76-71).
Sophomore Kiana Briggs was tied for third among tournament participants with 41 pars on her way to a score of 226 which was tied for 75th position. Freshman Alyson Sor did not finish the competition, while Chanelle Hwang was 102nd in her first collegiate event at 245 (84-82-79).
The Anteaters return to action on Jan. 28, 2024 when UCI will play UC Riverside dual at the Victoria Country Club.
