SAN DIEGO – Larissa Teramura and Emily Fowler earned singles match wins in the consolation round of 64 singles.

Both Teramura and E. Fowler faced Big West opponents in their respective matches.

The sophomore Teramura took on UC San Diego's Naomi Nguyen in this afternoon's competition. Teramura defeated her opponent in a swift 6-3, 6-2 match.

The senior E. Fowler saw a match-up against UC Riverside's Crystal Kim. After falling 6-4 in the first set, she came back from behind to earn the victory in the final two sets, 6-2 and 10-7.
