UCI Wraps up Action at the Bill Cullum Invitational

SOMIS, Calif. - The UC Irvine men's golf team wrapped up action at the Bill Cullum Invitational Tuesday at The Saticoy Club.
The Anteaters finished 14th with a 5-count-4 total of 920 (313-299-308). Cal State Fullerton took home the team title at 6-over 870, while the Titans' Patrick Ordonez (213) won a one-hole playoff against John Kim from Cal State San Bernardino to win individual medalist honors.
Senior Darien Zhao led the 'Eaters in a tie for 44th. He closed out the two-day tournament with a 54-hole score of 229 (78-74-77).
Sophomore Yaoting Zou (78-75-77) and freshman Jason Tang (75-78-77) tied for 50th at 230, while sophomore Rei Harashima (88-75-77) and junior Joshua Lane (82-75-83) tied for 72nd.
UCI will be right back in action next week, traveling to the Central Valley for the Visit Stockton Invitational, Oct. 16-18.
